Maternity Shoot - Joey (35 weeks)

Glad to have the opportunity to take Joey's maternity shoot over the weekend. Brought all my studio equipment over to her place and did not really use most of them. Shoot near her living room windows and occasionally add some fill light. Though the results are nothing fantastic to shout about but at least I gain some experience out of this. Cheers...

Dear wife

Setup my home studio and tried out some headshots on my dear wife. Still very amateur in playing with lights and I only managed to get a decent photo after multiple tries.

Personal favourite is still the black and white. There is still much room for improvement. Read that hair light will add dimension to the photos. I will try to add hair light in my next attempt soon.

Lighting setup: One light on her upper left and a reflector at her chest level to bounce light up.

Naomi (Japan)

It has been a while since I last joined Ivan's shoot. Had the opportunity to join one of his studio session on Thursday night (12 Apr) with model Naomi from Japan. Heard she is of Japanese/Brazilian parentage. Here's some photos from the session...

Saw Charmaine's portfolio in ModelMayhem.com thus arranged for a TFCD shoot on 7th April (Sat) at Marina Bay Sands followed by a studio session. A great model to work with. Some photos to share from the session.

 

My furkid walk & photoshoot @ Bishan Park

Took my furkid, CASH for a walk and photoshoot session in the newly revamped Bishan Park. He gets excited whenever he sees the leash and know he will be out for a walk. Shooting him got to be fast, he will only last a minute or two after the sit/down command. 

It was still hot and sunny on the way there and within the park. Weather turn dark quickly and almost got caught in the rain walking back. Well, I still managed to capture some nice photos while we were there .... enjoy.

Had 2 TFCD photo sessions in a morning over at Botanical Gardens. Both fun and tiring. When you love photography and enjoying the process, you won't feel the tiredness lugging the equipment till the day ended ...
